More than 60 percent of Germans are dissatisfied with the work of the Chancellor and the government. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the sociological institute INSA. At the same time, if the elections were held now, then Scholz took only third place in them.
More than a thousand respondents took part in the survey. Only 25% of them supported the incumbent Chancellor. Since March, the rating has fallen twice. Then Scholz was supported by 46% of the Germans.
Elections would also bring many surprises to the incumbent Chancellor. So 25% of Germans would vote for Vice Chancellor, Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection Robert Habek. He is followed by the chairman of the opposition Christian Democratic Union, Friedrich Merz. He would have received 19% of the vote. In third place would be the current chancellor with 18% of the vote. Decisive for Scholz will be elections in the federal state of Lower Saxony. They are scheduled for October 9th.
