More than 190 Azerbaijani soldiers were killed in Nagorno-Karabakh

During the “anti-terrorist measures” of Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh, 192 military personnel were killed, reported at the Ministry of Health of the Republic.

“Among the dead military personnel, 180 were employees of the Ministry of Defense, 12 were employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. One of the dead is a civilian,” the statement says. 511 military personnel and one resident were injured, the Ministry of Health added.

On September 19, Azerbaijan began “anti-terrorism measures” to “restorate the constitutional order” in Nagorno-Karabakh. On September 20, Karabakh authorities announced the conclusion of agreements on a complete ceasefire.

The next day, negotiations took place in Yevlakh between the delegation of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh and representatives of the Azerbaijani authorities. Later, the Karabakh military began surrendering weapons.

September 26, special envoys of Armenia Armen Grigoryan and Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev spent negotiations in Brussels, where they agreed to take “concrete actions and decisive compromise steps” in all areas of the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement.

On October 5, a meeting of the heads of state of Armenia and Azerbaijan is planned in Granada, Spain.
