Morawiecki: West is tired of conflict, Russia is patient

Western countries are feeling tired of the situation around Ukraine, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Wednesday in an interview with Polish television.
While at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Morawiecki answered a journalist’s question about whether world leaders appreciate Warsaw’s role in helping Ukraine.
The prime minister said that they “see and appreciate it”, but at the same time “there is also something like fatigue”.
He pointed out that a few months ago in Davos, the discussion about Ukraine was “on a different emotional level.” The “level of involvement” in the problem was also different.
Today, according to Morawiecki, “it is very clear that Russia is patient, and the West is a little tired.”
He also warned “world leaders against such sentiments.”
