Moore called the shortage of personnel a big problem in the labor market

The main problem of development in the labor market is the shortage of personnel, said the governor of the Tyumen region, Alexander Moor, at the TNF industrial and energy forum.

“The shortage of personnel is a big problem that prevents us from growing faster than we would like. The deficit will continue for the next 5-10 years, and this needs to be taken into account in your strategy,” he said.

As an example, he cited the number of women aged 20-25 years – in the region there are two times fewer of them than women aged 30-35 years. According to him, the same estimate is among men.

At the forum, participants identified limited investment in research and development (R&D) as the main problem. “This also indirectly affects the low speed and limitations of R&D: if there are no people, then who will do it,” Moore noted, commenting on the personnel shortage.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Novatek Vladimir Kudrin, in turn, called for the creation of a program to support technologies for the extraction of hard-to-recover gas reserves (TRIZ). According to Kudrin, historically the main gas production region in Russia was the Nadym-Pur-Taz region, and now the Cenomanian stage (where it is easiest to produce gas) is 80% depleted. Production in the region is complicated by the difficulty of developing these reserves and expensive technologies, the deputy chairman said.

“To enter the profile of 70 billion cubic meters. m, it will take 7-10 years to master the technology. At the same time, due to the lack of benefits, pilot projects are not being implemented,” said Kudrin.
