Moet Hennessy, part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) group, has appointed a new head of its subsidiary in Russia Moet Hennessy Distribution Rus LLC, said Interfax with reference to the ERGUL data. Alina Klushina took the position of General Director.
Prior to the appointment of Ms. Klushina, Moet Hennessy Distribution Rus LLC was headed by Sebastien Vilmot. He took over as CEO in May 2018.
From the data of SPARK-Interfax it follows that in 2021 the revenue of Moet Hennessy Distribution Rus increased from 5.5 billion (in 2020) to 6.1 billion rubles. The company’s net profit increased from 560 million to 722.6 million rubles. Also in 2021, the company paid dividends in the amount of RUB 640 million.
In March 2022 LVMH announced on the temporary closure of 124 stores in Russia. In November, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation turned on brands Hennessy and Moet in the list of goods that can be imported into the country under the parallel import scheme.
Earlier this month, the German dairy concern Ehrmann and the Swiss company Nestle announced the change of heads of Russian subsidiaries. Since January 18, the Russian LLC Ehrmann and LLC Campina have been headed by Johannes Schönhuber. On January 17, Denis Voytyuk became CEO of Nestlé Russia.
