The head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, sent a request to the Investigative Committee and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs with a request to check the singer Charlotte under the article about discrediting the Russian army. The public figure wrote about this in her Telegram-channel.
According to Mizulina, Charlotte publicly discredited the Russian Armed Forces, insulted the feelings of believers and demonstratively burned his passport as a Russian citizen.
Earlier, artist Eduard Charlotte left Russia after the start of a special military operation. Later, the singer staged a performance on his social networks in which he burned his Russian passport, not wanting to be somehow connected with this country.
But the artist was unable to cope with the shortage of funds far from his homeland and began to beg his subscribers for money to buy a ticket to Russia.
