Mishustin to pay official visit to China for the first time as prime minister
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will pay an official visit to China for the first time since taking office. This was reported in the press service of the government of the Russian Federation.
The trip will take place from 23 to 24 May. Mishustin will visit Beijing and Shanghai, and will also meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang.
“Topical issues of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the trade and economic sphere will be considered,” the press service said in a statement.
During the discussion, it is planned to pay special attention to cooperation in the fields of industry, energy, transport and agriculture.
Mishustin will also speak at the Russian-Chinese Business Forum in Shanghai.
