Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will speak in the State Duma with an annual report on the work of the government on April 3, said the chairman of the lower house of parliament Vyacheslav Volodin. Meetings of the head of government with State Duma factions will be held from March 25 to 29.

On March 25, Mikhail Mishustin will meet with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Liberal Democratic Party factions, on March 28 – with the New People and United Russia factions, on March 29 – with the A Just Russia – For Truth faction. “The government report itself in the State Duma will take place on April 3,” said Vyacheslav Volodin following a meeting with the Prime Minister (quote from website State Duma).

During traditional meetings in preparation for the annual government report, Mikhail Mishustin discusses with parliamentarians the main aspects of the government’s work. Deputies come up with their initiatives and proposals for the next year.

This will be the fourth report of Mikhail Mishustin’s government in the State Duma. In 2023, Mr. Mishustin presented government work report for 2022 March 23. The report, which took more than an hour and a half, covered the government’s key anti-crisis measures of the past year and current state policy guidelines. In particular, changes were discussed in the rules for providing subsidies for housing costs, the creation of a free economic zone in new regions, as well as the unification of rules for supporting the low-income population.
