Mishustin urged to increase the pace of meeting the needs of Russian troops

The pace of implementation of tasks to meet the needs of the Russian Armed Forces must be constantly increased, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at the meeting Coordinating Council for Meeting the Needs of the Russian Armed Forces.

“The pace of achieving the targets must be constantly increased in all areas, including equipment, equipment, medicine and infrastructure construction,” he said.

The Ministry of Defense, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB have already reported on bringing security standards in line with their real needs. Work is now being completed on the approval of target schedules for the near future, after which suppliers will build their activities based on them, Mishustin explained.

The prime minister also recalled President Vladimir Putin’s instructions to improve the quality of equipment for Russian troops. To do this, it is necessary to analyze the activities of design centers for the study of information directly from the areas of combat operations, their proposed solutions and prospects for implementation, he added.

To bring the security standards of the country’s Armed Forces in line with their real needs arising in the course of the special operation in Ukraine in November instructed Russian President Vladimir Putin. In addition, in order to improve the quality of equipment for the Russian troops, the government was instructed to establish an operational exchange of information between units directly involved in the NMD and manufacturers of weapons and equipment.

On October 25, the first meeting of the Coordinating Council to meet the needs of the troops was held, during which Mishustin announced the need to launch a full-scale production of equipment and uniforms to provide for all those mobilized. According to him, it is necessary to use all the capacities of the light industry, including small enterprises in the regions, as well as to organize uninterrupted supplies of raw materials, materials, and fabrics.
