Having proven in practice its relevance and resistance to external challenges and global problems, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is becoming one of the centers of the new multipolar world. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated this at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in a narrow format.
Mishustin noted that during the existence of the EAEU, mutual trade between the five countries has almost doubled, and industrial production – by 20%. Good dynamics are also observed in other indicators: construction, agricultural output, freight turnover for all types of transport, investment in fixed assets.
“It is important to continue together to solve the problems of sustainable development of national economies despite the unfavorable external environment, but also to ensure the free movement of goods, services, investments and labor – ultimately improving the quality of life of our citizens,” Mishustin emphasized.
On September 25, Mishustin spoke at the plenary session of the Innoprom forum. Kazakhstan” stated that the industrialization map of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) already includes more than 150 projects in 25 industries worth more than 26 trillion rubles.
The Eurasian Economic Union is an international integration economic association whose members are Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. The EAEU was created with the goals of economic development of the participating countries, modernization and increasing the competitiveness of these states in the world market.
