According to preliminary estimates from the Ministry of Economic Development, Russia’s GDP grew by 2% in the seven months of 2023, despite external pressure. About it reported Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a government meeting.
“What’s important is that this is largely facilitated by the growth of the manufacturing industry, as well as the restructuring of transport and logistics connections and increased investment activity in the first half of the year,” Mishustin added.
On September 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the restoration of the Russian economy despite sanctions. The head of state described the current economic situation as stable and balanced. By the end of 2023, GDP growth in Russia may reach the level of 2.5–2.8%.
