Mishustin remotely voted in the elections in Moscow

Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin today voted in the elections of municipal deputies of Moscow, he did it remotely, reported in the press service of the Cabinet.
“Like last year, he took advantage of the possibility of remote electronic voting,” the government said.
The Cabinet recalled that the elections of heads of regions, regional parliaments and local governments are being held this year in 82 subjects of the country. In a number of territories, including Moscow, voters can vote both online and at polling stations.
Earlier today voting accepted Russian President Vladimir Putin. He called remote electronic voting (DEV) “a very convenient, reliable form of voting.” The day before, the deputy chairman of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, chose the same method.
Three-day voting takes place from 9 to 11 September in 82 regions of Russia. According to Ella Pamfilova, head of the Russian Central Election Commission, more than 4,700 election campaigns at the regional and local levels will be held.
With the help of the DEG, 1,006,499 voters (13.31% of their total number) voted in Moscow by 20.00 on Friday, Dmitry Reut, deputy chairman of the Moscow City Electoral Committee, told Vedomosti. According to him, this level of “online turnout” is comparable to the results of last year, when elections to the State Duma were held – then 1.3 million Muscovites also voted online on the first day.
