December 31, 2022 Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions for the development of unmanned aerial systems in the country. In accordance with it, the government was instructed to form a commission on the development of unmanned aerial systems by February 15. The commission was entrusted to be headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov.
By June, the Cabinet of Ministers needs to approve a strategy for the development of unmanned aircraft in Russia for the period up to 2030 and for the future up to 2035, which should identify priority areas for the development of unmanned aircraft, the parameters of this market, annual targets for the development of unmanned aircraft, as well as a list measures being implemented, the volume and sources of their financing.
