Mishustin announced a doubling of production of key types of military equipment

The production of key types of military equipment in Russia has more than doubled. About it reported Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting of the coordination council to meet the needs of the Russian Armed Forces, other troops, military formations and bodies.

“We continue to solve problems to meet the needs of our Armed Forces, which were identified for this period. Schedules are being implemented in full, and in some cases, significantly ahead of schedule. Complex production processes have been established in an unprecedentedly short time,” Mishustin said, opening the meeting.

September 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedthat based on the results of eight months of 2023, the defense industry managed not only to fulfill the delivery schedule, but also to increase the output of military products in certain areas: the production volume of the main types of armored vehicles more than doubled compared to last year, and especially popular weapons – by three times.
