Belarus is ready for dialogue with the new government of Poland, said Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Sergei Aleinik. As he stated on the ONT TV channel, numerous unfriendly steps on the part of the Polish authorities led to the current relations with the neighboring country.
Aleynik added that future dialogue should be based on mutual respect and not have preconditions.
“We have always advocated and continue to advocate dialogue. We have always proceeded and continue to proceed from the need to preserve the principles of good neighborliness. The head of our state has spoken about this more than once,” emphasized Sergei Aleynik.
The Foreign Minister also noted that relations between Belarus and Western countries could normalize after the European authorities recognize the failure of their policies in the east.
Earlier it became known that in the union state Belarus and Russia a joint tax authority appeared. He will control the interaction between the two countries.
