Kyrgyzstan does not agree with the statement of the Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan, Berik Asylov, about the participation of its citizens in last year’s riots in Kazakhstan.
Two citizens of Kyrgyzstan were brought to justice conditionally. The country’s Foreign Ministry explained that it was an accidental episode in which they found themselves due to circumstances beyond their control. The responsibility and guilt of others has not been proven, stressed in the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan. Not a single citizen, as noted in the Foreign Ministry, did not participate in rallies, pogroms and looting.
Today, the Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan, speaking with a report, said that foreign citizens are suspected of participating in the riots: from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Russia.
