Ministry of Defense: the Ukrainian side attacked the hospital in Novayadar in the LPR

On the morning of January 28, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the building of a district hospital in Novoaydar, Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), with HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, reported in the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
As a result of shells hitting the building, 14 people were killed, 24 people – patients and hospital staff – were injured of varying severity. The ministry stressed that medical assistance is being provided to all victims.
“Intentional missile attack on a known active civilian medical facility is an unconditional grave war crime of the Kyiv regime,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The department added that for “many months” in the district hospital, civilian and military doctors provided medical assistance to the local population and military personnel.
“All those involved in the planning and implementation of this crime will be found and held accountable,” the ministry concluded.
On New Year’s Eve, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the building of a vocational school in Makeevka, where Russian servicemen were at that time. The Ministry of Defense reported that 89 people were killed during the strike by the Ukrainian military. First Deputy Chief of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Sergei Sevryukov, in his statement confirmed the information that on January 1 at 0.01 Moscow time, six HIMARS rockets were fired by artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but two shells were intercepted by air defense. The rest got into the building where the Russian servicemen were stationed.
January 8 Ministry of Defense reportedthat the command of the Joint Group of Russian Forces carried out a “retribution operation”: in particular, within a day, intelligence means “were opened and reliably confirmed through several independent channels the points of temporary deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city of Kramatorsk.” It is separately stated that “as a result of a massive missile strike” more than 600 Ukrainian servicemen were killed, according to his Telegram channel.
