The Ministry of Defense reported colossal losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk direction
During the fighting in the Donetsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 410 military personnel wounded and killed. Vadim Astafiev, head of the press center of the Russian military grouping “South”, told TASS about this.
According to him, the group’s units, with the support of artillery and aviation, improved the situation along the front line. They attacked concentrations of manpower and equipment of the 3rd and 92nd assault brigades, as well as the 24th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Andreevka, Kurdyumovka, Bogdanovka and Novy.
In addition to large personnel losses, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also suffered serious damage to military equipment. In total, two Msta-B howitzers, a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery unit, as well as 2 armored vehicles and 12 ordinary vehicles were destroyed.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 2,800 military personnel in a week.
