Ministry of Defense: ships damaged in Sevastopol will be restored

Two ships of the Navy, which were damaged as a result of Ukraine’s night attack on Sevastopol, will be restored and will continue to serve in combat. About it reported Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The department noted that they underwent scheduled repairs at the ship repair plant named after. S. Ordzhonikidze.

On the night of September 13, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 10 cruise missiles at Sevastopol, seven of them were shot down by air defenses, reported to the Ministry of Defense. In addition, Ukraine tried to attack the ships of the Black Sea Fleet with three unmanned boats, all of the boats were destroyed. As a result of the missile hits, two ships undergoing repairs were damaged.

Razvozhaev reported about a fire at the southern site of the Sevastopol Marine Plant due to a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, the enterprise was shelled at about 03:20 Moscow time. As a result, 24 people were injured, four of them are in moderate condition. Governor clarifiedthat the fire has already been extinguished.

Sevastopol Marine Plant is the largest ship repair and shipbuilding enterprise in Crimea. It is the main repair base of the Black Sea Fleet.
