Ministry of Defense: Russian military shot down two Ukrainian aircraft in the DPR

In the Krasnolimansky direction, the Russian military stopped the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Chervonopopovka region of the LPR. The enemy lost more than 100 soldiers killed and wounded. Up to 50 Ukrainian soldiers were destroyed in the Yuzhnodonetsk direction near the town of Ugledar and the village of Nikolskoye in the DPR.
On the eve, December 1, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported about taking control of the village of Kurdyumovka in the DPR. Before that, the settlements of Andreevka, Belogorovka and Pershe Travnya were also liberated in the republic.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
