Ministry of Defense: Russian Mi-35 helicopter destroyed an armored column of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Izyum

The crew of a Russian Mi-35 helicopter attacked a convoy of armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian military in the area of ​​one of the settlements of the Izyumsky district of the Kharkiv region. About it reported Russian Defense Ministry in its Telegram channel.

“The crew of the helicopter at an extremely low altitude approached the identified targets and used fire weapons. As a result of the strike, a column of armored vehicles and a concentration of enemy manpower were destroyed,” the report says. In addition, the Ministry of Defense published a video of hitting targets.

As noted in the department, the blow was delivered by Major Denis Bulakh and Senior Lieutenant Sergei Erslankin as part of the helicopter crew. Every day, they made more than five flights, both day and night, to provide air support to the motorized riflemen of the group of troops that countered the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Izyum direction.

September 10 Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the withdrawal of Russian forces from the cities of Izyum and Balakleya in the Kharkiv region for transfer to the territory of the DPR in order to increase the efforts of the Russian side in the Donetsk direction. According to the Russian agency, the losses of Ukrainian forces from 6 to 10 September in the Kharkiv and Nikolaev-Kryvyi Rih directions amounted to more than 4,000 killed and more than 8,000 wounded.

The day before in the CAA of the Kharkiv region explainedthat in the Kharkov direction the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine exceeded the Russian troops by eight times. According to the head of the pro-Russian administration of the region, Vitaly Ganchev, the Russian military was withdrawn to save personnel.
