The Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement saying that units of the Dnepr grouping defeated a large detachment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was trying to gain a foothold on the left bank of the Dnieper.
As noted in the message, 150 people, mostly mercenaries, tried to cross the Dnieper and gain a foothold near the settlement of Cossack Camps in the Aleshkinsky urban community of the Kherson district of the Kherson region.
The Russian servicemen allowed the detachment to go ashore, and then hit the unloading boats from artillery.
“The enemy at the Cossack Camps is completely cleared.” – emphasizes the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. At the same time, Russian servicemen seized trophies – dozens of foreign-made weapons, as well as ammunition, radio stations and equipment.
