Ministry of Defense: air defense systems shot down seven drones over the Belgorod region

Over the Belgorod region, seven Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense systems on duty, reported in the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“On the evening of September 25, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an aircraft-type UAV on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped. Duty air defense systems destroyed seven Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the Belgorod region,” the report says.
Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel clarifiedthat a massive attack was reflected in the sky over the Grayvoronsky urban district. According to preliminary data, no one was injured, one car was damaged due to the wreckage of the device, he explained.
On September 25, around 09:00 Moscow time, another drone was shot down over the Belgorod region. Gladkov said that the air defense system worked in the Grayvoronsky urban district. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or damage. At about 10:00 Moscow time, Russian air defense systems intercepted two Ukrainian drones over the Kursk and Bryansk regions, reported Ministry of Defense.
On September 24, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces shot down two Ukrainian drones in the sky over the Belgorod and Kursk regions. The head of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, clarified that the air defense worked in the Kursk region. Vyacheslav Gladkov also spoke about the downed drone: the drone was shot down while approaching Belgorod. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage.
In Belgorod and other border regions, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat remains in effect indefinitely. The regions are regularly attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
