Ministry of Defense: about 260 Ukrainian servicemen were destroyed in the Donetsk direction

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have lost about 260 servicemen in the Donetsk direction. About it informs The Russian Defense Ministry in the daily report on the course of hostilities in Ukraine.
As a result of the active actions of the Russian military, three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, three armored combat vehicles, eight vehicles, as well as a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount and MSTA-B and D-20 howitzers were destroyed.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, the losses of the enemy amounted to more than 50 military, and in the Kupyansky direction – up to 30. In the Yuzhnodonetsk and Zaporozhye directions, a total of up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen were destroyed, and 14 in the Kherson direction, the Defense Ministry added.
Earlier today the department reported on the liquidation of the point of the Odessa Marine Guard, which was transferred to the Kherson region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to about 50 people.
On the eve of April 6, the enemy lost over 140 soldiers in the Donetsk direction. On Krasnolimansky, the Russian military destroyed up to 80 Ukrainian servicemen, on Kupyansky – more than 50, on Zaporozhye and Yuzhnodonetsky – up to 35, and on Kherson – up to 20.
The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of hostilities, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 406 aircraft and 228 helicopters. Nearly 3,700 drones were also shot down.
