Ministry of Defense: 13 Ukrainian drones tried to attack objects in Crimea

On the night of August 4, Russian air defense and electronic warfare (EW) systems prevented an attempt by Kyiv to attack targets in Crimea using 13 drones. About it reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“Tonight, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles on objects on the territory of the Crimean peninsula was thwarted,” the report said.
According to the Ministry of Defense, in the course of repulsing the attack, the air defense system destroyed ten drones, three more were suppressed by the electronic warfare system. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, there was no damage.
The fact that air defense systems worked on the territory of Crimea, earlier informed adviser to the head of the Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov. He noted that air defense systems worked in several regions of Crimea. According to him, by 04:18 Moscow time all drones were shot down.
On the night of July 30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have taken an attempt to attack objects in the Crimea with 25 aircraft-type drones. All of them were destroyed. As a result of the attack, no one was injured, there was no damage. Later, the Ministry of Defense reported that on the night of August 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine unsuccessfully tried to attack two ships of the Black Sea Fleet “Sergey Kotov” and “Vasily Bykov” with three marine unmanned boats, which performed the tasks of controlling navigation 340 km southwest of Sevastopol.
