State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov proposed canceling all kinds of credits and loans of citizens in Ukrainian banks living in the new lands of Russia. This should apply both to those regions that have already become part of our country as a result of referendums, and to possible future territories.
“I believe that we need to work out a clear mechanism for the non-recognition of Ukrainian consumer and other loans in new territories,” Vitaly Milonov, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Paternity, Maternity and Childhood, told MK. – People should know that with the arrival of Russia, they will automatically pay off any obligations to Ukrainian banks and any financial organizations. We must give new citizens a good opportunity to break with the Ukrainian stepmother forever.
In the coming days, the parliamentarian will prepare a corresponding request to the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank so that experts assess the possibility of creating such a mechanism.
