Milonov and three other deputies from United Russia asked to be sent to serve

Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrey Turchak declaredthat the first four deputies of the State Duma from United Russia have already applied with a request to send them to serve in the zone of a special military operation as part of the Russian Armed Forces.

“The statements of the first four State Duma deputies from United Russia with a request to send them to serve in the NVO zone as part of the RF Armed Forces have been received by me and will be considered by the RF Ministry of Defense,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

This request was made by Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection Dmitry Khubezov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Defense Dmitry Sablin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Family, Women and Children Vitaly Milonov and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy Sergei Sokol, he explained.

At the same time, Khubezov, Sablin and Milonov have been working in the Donbas since the first days of the NWO, Turchak noted, and they know “what the struggle for the right to be Russian is.”

The day before, Turchak announced a “stream of appeals” from deputies and senators who want to take a direct part in the special operation in Ukraine after the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia.

According to Art. 18 of the law on mobilization training and mobilization in Russia, a deferment from conscription for military service for mobilization is granted to members of the Federation Council and deputies of the State Duma.

Former State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin declaredthat deputies and employees of the apparatus of the State Duma, who have “military skills”, will be able to participate in the SVO as volunteers. “There is no reservation – let’s proceed from this,” he said at a meeting of the Duma.

Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrey Kartapolov (United Russia) followed the speaker and said that the deputies had no reservations for mobilization: “The deputies will do everything to ensure that the tasks are completed, either here or with arms in hand.
