Russian soldiers in an infantry fighting vehicle rescued 19 people from under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported by a fighter with the call sign “Horizon”.

His story to volunteers from the Kursk region, along with a photograph of the same BMP-3, was published on the social networks of the Fatezhskie Budni newspaper. The publication clarified that the events took place in the Zaporozhye direction.

According to Horizon, during the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the company commander was tasked with removing one wounded man and the bodies of two dead from the battlefield. The soldier said that it was successfully completed under conditions of artillery shelling. Moreover, another 18 people were rescued from enemy shells.

The publication also clarified that the crew of the BMP-3 consists of military personnel from the southern regions – Stavropol and Kabardino-Balkaria.
