Citizens of the Russian Federation, who will be called up for military training, will not take part in a special military operation in Ukraine. This was announced on Wednesday, May 10, by military observer Viktor Litovkin.
As the expert noted, in the relevant presidential decree there is not a single word that these people should take part in a special military operation – these are ordinary training camps in military units and at training grounds.
Litovkin also said that the training usually lasts no longer than two months and is “guessed” for the major exercises that Russia is conducting.
On May 10, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the annual decree about military recruitment Russian citizens in reserve. The training camp will be held in the Armed Forces, the Russian Guard, state security agencies and the FSB.
Andrey Kartapolov, head of the RF State Duma Committee on Defense, said that summons to the training camp will come in the traditional paper form. Due to recent legislative changes, paper summonses may be duplicated by electronic ones, but will be considered served only paper agenda.
