Military publicist Vladislav Shurygin commented in his Telegram channel on the ongoing offensive actions of the Ukrainian forces and assessed the temporary potential of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The fifth day of the “general offensive” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun,” the expert wrote, noting that Kyiv has already used a third of its available reserves.
“There is no success. The hardest battles are going on in all directions,” Shurygin stated.
He drew attention to the fact that the Ukrainian command relied on night attacks, but hopes to break through at least the tactical zone of the first echelon of defense of the RF Armed Forces did not materialize.
“In four days of fighting, more than three hundred units, tanks and armored vehicles, at least fifty guns and self-propelled guns and up to three and a half thousand soldiers were lost,” Shurygin cited the data, emphasizing that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had actually lost a brigade.
“With the current rate of bringing reserves into battle, the offensive potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be enough for another week,” the expert summed up.
