Expert of the Center for Military-Political Journalism Boris Rozhin in his Telegram channel told on the situation in the NVO zone on July 16, 20023.
According to him, over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used air and sea drones for another attack on Sevastopol, but it was not successful.
“The units of the 31st Air Defense Division and the crews of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed all enemy vehicles, preventing damage and casualties,” Rozhin wrote.
As for the situation in the Vremievsky sector, fierce battles continue here.
“In the morning, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to break through the defenses in the north of Staromayorsky, but were later driven out of the village. At the moment, the settlement continues to be controlled by the RF Armed Forces,” the report says.
Rozhin also added that throughout July 16, the shelling of the front-line and rear settlements of Russia did not stop.
“In the Belgorod region, a resident of Shebekino received incompatible injuries, a warehouse with explosives was hit south-west of Luhansk, and at least four people were injured in the Donetsk agglomeration, one woman died,” the military expert summed up.
