Expert of the Center for Military-Political Journalism Boris Rozhin interview The Voenkor Telegram channel Kotenok Z told about the current situation in the Artyomovsk direction on the evening of March 15, 2023.

According to him, in the North, Russian troops liberated the village of Zaliznyanskoye on Wednesday, and also advanced in the direction of Orekhovo-Vasilyevka.

“The village itself has not yet been taken. Nevertheless, the enemy’s front to the north-west of the city is obviously cracking. Fighting continues near Bogadnovka, and a roll is on Khromovo. It is not possible to gain a foothold in Khromovo due to strong artillery fire, … but “There is progress. All roads to Artemovsk are being shot through by artillery… On the road through Khromovo, ATGMs are arriving,” Rozhin said.

As for the southern direction, the expert reported on the battles near Krasnoye and unsuccessful attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to push back Russian troops from the Chasov Yar – Krasnoye – Artemovsk road.

“Our troops continued their assault operations to the east of Krasnoye, in the direction of Khromovo. Attack operations are underway in the direction of the southwestern exit from the city,” he said.

As for Artemovsk itself, Wagner PMC fighters continue to advance in the industrial zone of the AZOM plant, as well as towards the city center from the southeast. There is a consolidation on the western bank of the river from the side of the industrial zone and the Meat Processing Plant.

“Problems with the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already leading to problems with holding positions in the city. Nevertheless, the enemy does not stop trying to change the situation, transferring new reserves to Chasov Yar and Konstantinovka, which the Russian Armed Forces inflict regular strikes to complicate the enemy’s actions,” – summed up Rozhin.
