Kyiv hopes for mobilization in Western countries for the offensive, which is being prepared by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informed in a conversation with URA.RU, retired special forces colonel, participant in the conflict in Afghanistan, intelligence officer Anatoly Matviychuk.

According to a military expert, Warsaw is ready to send 20,000 people to help Kyiv.

Matviychuk noted that “the paradox lies in the fact that in Ukraine now neither tanks nor guns are in short supply, but the Ukrainians themselves.”

“They fled,” he said.

According to Matviychuk, Kyiv is preparing a decree according to which “they will take everyone: the sick, the lame, everyone who has deferments or any exemptions from military service.” He also noted that “they have already called the prisoners” and now, according to the expert, “they are counting on the fact that they will be given fugitives who have settled in Poland, Europe, England, France.”

And besides, in his opinion, the Ukrainian authorities “hope to call up reservists from allied countries, mercenaries.” Matviychuk said he knew “that Poland is ready to send a 20,000-strong corps to help Ukraine.”

He also stressed that “it must be understood that an increase in personnel, if they suddenly decide to attack, of course, will happen.”

The expert thinks that Ukraine can really go on the offensive, but Russia is able to stop it. He explained: “The defeat of command posts leads to the fact that the enemy abandons the offensive.”

In addition, as Matviychuk said, “we are grinding all the equipment that comes in, even Western ones, which they did not want to spend,” and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have a shortage: “even assault brigades are not armed to the state of wartime.”

He considers it insane for Ukraine to go on the offensive. “The thing is, there is no cure for schizophrenia,” the colonel said. “An attack can happen, and then nothing will happen, only a catastrophe.”
