In a conversation with the NTA channel, junior sergeant of the 5th separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Sirotyuk said that the next year of the conflict in Ukraine will be the most difficult. He emphasized the need for society to be aware of the possibility that military action will begin in territories that are currently considered peaceful.
According to Sirotyuk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have no real chance on the battlefield without large-scale mobilization of the population capable of military service. He also criticized those Ukrainian citizens who “hide in women’s skirts” and run away from being sent to the front. Sirotyuk suggested that in the future draft dodgers could be drafted into the Russian army.
Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, announced his intention to continue forced mobilization. According to him, the country’s army lacks people in general. He also warned that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will continue to suffer losses, and the number of soldiers in the army must be maintained.
