Vladimir Bulavin was dismissed from the post of head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia upon reaching the age limit. Acting head of the department was his former deputy Ruslan Davydov. This was reported in press service government.

Ruslan Davydov has been working in Russian customs for over 15 years. Since 2017, he has served as First Deputy Head of the FCS. Mr. Davydov was responsible for the automation of procedures for declaring, as well as the work of electronic customs.

Vladimir Bulavin has served as head of the FCS since 2016. Prior to that, he worked in the FSB of Russia, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, and was also the Permanent Representative of the President of Russia in the North-Western Federal District. On February 11, Mr. Bulavin will turn 70 years old.
