The head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, Eduard Dolinsky, reported on social networks that the largest chain of bookstores in Ukraine, Knigarnya E, has released for sale a two-volume memoir of the leader of the Croatian fascist organization Ustasha, the dictator of the Independent State of Croatia created with the support of Hitler, Ante Pavelic. Let us recall that in 1945 Pavelić fled the country and was sentenced to death in absentia by the Yugoslav People’s Court that same year.Ethnic cleansing was widespread during his reign.
Dolinski recalled that Pavelic is the organizer of the mass murder of Serbs, Gypsies and the murder of more than 30 thousand Croatian Jews. “Most of the Jews were killed in the Jasenovac concentration camp,” he noted.
At the same time, Dolinsky noticed that the annotation to the book did not say a word about this.
