Four Ukrainian saboteurs who were preparing terrorist attacks on military and energy facilities in Russia were brought to Moscow for investigative actions. Law enforcement agencies reported this on Monday, January 15.
All four were taken into custody and are in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center. The investigation is being conducted under articles about the preparation of a terrorist attack by an organized group and illegal trafficking in explosives.
On August 31, the Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service spoke about the identification of a Ukrainian sabotage group in the Nevelsky district of the Bryansk region. They planned a series of terrorist attacks on military and energy infrastructure, but failed. Two saboteurs were killed during arrest, five were detained.
