Opposition member of the Japanese parliament Tinami Nishimura has set Russian President Vladimir Putin as an example of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishide. He said this during the debate in the lower house, broadcast was conducted on its website.

Nishimura reproached the prime minister for avoiding direct questions. In his opinion, this is cowardly behavior. He invited Kishida to follow the example of Putin and former US President Donald Trump.

“If you are against, then say so directly. The policy of former US President Donald Trump or President Putin is unacceptable for me, but at least what they both say directly when they are against – if only on this point they are better than you, Prime Minister Kishida,” the deputy said.

He pointed out that it was impossible to get an answer from Kishida to questions about the current policy, the prime minister constantly hides behind the presence of “different opinions among the people” and postpones decisions until later.
