Medvedev urged to remove emigrants with an anti-state position from the political landscape

Chairman of United Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, at a meeting of the bureau of the Supreme Council of the party, said that during the military operation in Ukraine it is necessary to unite the efforts of the authorities and public forces. According to him, those who engage in anti-state politics abroad must be eliminated from the political landscape. Mr. Medvedev also suggested that United Russia should build a dialogue with ideologically close parties abroad.

“Those political forces that are trying to pursue some other anti-state policy abroad, they should generally be eliminated from the political landscape,” said Dmitry Medvedev (quoted by RIA Novosti).

He stated that the world has come close to the threat of World War III because of the impending aggression against the Russian Federation. According to him, the military operation in Ukraine was a forced measure and a response to the West. The deputy chairman of the Security Council added that the past year showed who is a friend of Russia, and with whom “there is nothing more to negotiate.”

According to him, the institutions of multilateral diplomacy are in a serious crisis. The UN and other international platforms have turned into a “battlefield,” said Dmitry Medvedvev. He believes that the “opponents” are trying to get a large number of votes in support of “absolutely anti-Russian initiatives.”

“Of course, the fight against an external enemy is much more important for us now than inter-party differences. United Russia could help other patriotic forces in our country build a dialogue with foreign parties that are ideologically close to them,” Mr. Medvedev said.

The deputy chairman of the Security Council recalled the social support for the participants in the military operation in Ukraine and admitted that in some subjects they coped with this issue better, in some worse. He noted that the experience of regions that have achieved greater success in this should be disseminated throughout Russia.
