The United States is in a state of internal discord, which is irreconcilable. This situation could end in a civil war, declared Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with TASS and RT.

“America is now in a state of internal discord, America is in conflict with itself. Moreover, in my opinion, in some ways this discord is irreconcilable, such intra-country conflicts very often end in a civil war,” he said.

Medvedev explained that “colossal discord” is observed between the elites. In his opinion, the clash of Republicans and Democrats “teared America apart.” At the same time, the politician added that he does not know what the future holds for the United States, but “the level of conflict”, according to him, indicates the risks of a civil war.

At the end of December 2022 Medvedev published a forecast for 2023, in which the United States predicted a civil war and the separation of California and Texas into independent states. In addition, the deputy chairman of the Security Council expects the victory of businessman Elon Musk in the US presidential election in some of the states assigned to the Republicans after the civil war. Musk considered Medvedev’s predictions are absurd.
