Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Medvedev spoke about the fate of those detained for the attempt on Prilepin
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev on Sunday in his Telegram channel commented on the detention in hot pursuit of those suspected of attempting to assassinate writer Zakhar Prilepin.
“The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who detained the Ukronazis who committed a terrorist attack against Zakhar Prilepin, well done,” the politician wrote.
He also noted that “the criminals admitted that they were recruited by the special services of the Bandera state” and that they “will be tried for the attack and sentenced to long prison terms.”
At the same time, Medvedev stressed that it is important that “they and others like them be aware of a simple thing.” According to him, under the conditions of the moratorium on the death penalty, “even with those sentenced to life imprisonment, incidents and accidents sometimes happen.”
Medvedev believes that this “also has a great educational value” for those who are also “hired to kill.”
