Medvedev: sooner or later the United States will “abandon” Ukraine

The topic of financial support for Ukraine is becoming toxic for the United States, despite Washington’s plans to continue to allocate funds to Kyiv, it will become more difficult to do so. This statement was made by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

“Republicans, having become stronger after the election, are driving a big wave against the Democrats. The Democrats are fighting back. There is no need for illusions, big money will continue to be allocated for the militarization of the Ukrainian regime,” wrote Medvedev in his Telegram channel.

At the same time, the deputy chairman of the Security Council noted, it is becoming “more and more difficult” to do this. Medvedev also predicted changes in the mood of US residents. In his opinion, the Americans were “cheated” by transferring “giant funds in an unknown direction.”

However, Medvedev stressed, sooner or later Washington’s “reckless support” for Kyiv will end, because the US “always abandoned its friends and its best sons of bitches.” According to the deputy chairman, the Ukrainian authorities understand this, and therefore continue to demand new sanctions against the Russian Federation and “more and more Western money for the war.”

Earlier today, The Daily Caller cited Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green informedthat a group of Republicans demanded an audit of Washington’s military and financial assistance to Kyiv. Lawmakers believe US residents deserve to know where their taxes go.

Also Congressman James Comer declaredthat the Republicans are planning to launch an investigation into the activities of US President Joe Biden. The heads of state and members of his family are suspected of involvement in international business schemes.

The Republican Party of the United States on November 17 overcame the bar in the required 218 seats to obtain a majority in the House of Representatives of Congress. As Vedomosti wrote earlier, this will not affect the volume of support for Ukraine. According to the Pentagon, since the beginning of the special operation, the United States has allocated a total of $18.2 billion for military assistance to Ukraine.
