Medvedev promised Ukraine “inevitable retribution” for the attack on Crimea

The Ukrainian authorities must understand that an attack on Crimea will lead to “inevitable retaliation with the use of any weapon,” wrote Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, on his Twitter account.
“International law respects the will of the people. Crimea is Russia. An attack on Crimea means an attack on Russia and an escalation of the conflict. The Ukrainian gang of drug addicts must understand that such attacks will be met with inevitable retribution with the use of any weapon,” the politician wrote.

On February 3, the head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov in his Telegram channel informedthat a “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat will operate in the republic from February 5 until a decision is made to cancel it. He clarified that the decision affects the territories of the urban districts of Armyansk, Dzhankoy, Kerch, Krasnoperekopsk and Dzhankoysky, Krasnoperekopsky and Leninsky districts. The “yellow” level of terrorist threat will also continue to operate at the facilities of a number of regional departments, including the Crimean Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Fuel and Energy, etc.
