Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Vladimir Putin on his victory in the presidential elections. Based on the results of processing 30.04% of the protocols, the current head of state gains 87.68% of the votes (turnout at 18:00 Moscow time – 74.22%).
“Congratulations to V.V. Putin on his brilliant victory in the Russian presidential elections!” — Dmitry Medvedev wrote in his Telegram channel. According to exit polls from VTsIOM and FOM, 87% of voters voted for Mr. Putin (FOM – 87.8%).
Vladislav Davankov (New People party) after processing 30.04% of the protocols – 3.81%, Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) – 3.95%, Leonid Slutsky (LDPR) – 3.01%. Vladimir Putin is running in the elections as a self-nominated candidate.
