Medvedev compared US policies on Israel and Ukraine
Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the latest aggravation of the situation in the Middle East. In his Telegram channel, he expressed his opinion about the heterogeneity of US foreign policy.
According to Medvedev, America in the Middle East is “trying to maintain a balance and show restraint” because “the fighting in Gaza is worsening (President Joe) Biden’s election prospects” and the “big war” between Iran and Israel “introduces additional uncertainty.” At the same time, the United States is not inclined to be restrained in Ukraine, Medvedev believes.
“They don’t care about the death of our people,” he said. “After all, this is, as American officials say, an ‘investment’.”
