Medvedev called the legitimate target of foreign military specialists in Ukraine

Foreign military specialists and weapons sent to Ukraine are legitimate targets of the Russian Armed Forces (AF). This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with Russian media.

“If military specialists are traveling with these weapons, this is direct evidence that the country is involved in the conflict. Therefore, if Patriot or any other means of destruction are delivered to the territory of Ukraine together with foreign specialists, they are, of course, a legal target and must be destroyed. They are combatants, they are enemies of our state. They need to be destroyed,” he said.cit. according to RIA Novosti).

Earlier Medvedev also informedthat Russia is now at war not with Ukraine, but with 3.6 million representatives of the NATO army. “They are participating, of course, in a hybrid conflict. But they are participating and, in fact, they no longer hide it,” Medvedev added. According to him, Russia is at war with a population of 800 million people, which “supplies equipment, weapons and money to the Kyiv regime.”

After the start of the special operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Western countries began to provide military assistance to Kyiv. Russia has repeatedly criticized these actions, accusing Western countries of escalating the conflict. On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin during his address to the Federal Assembly declaredthat the West is seeking to move the local conflict in Ukraine into a phase of global confrontation. According to him, the goal is to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.
