Medvedev called for activities in the West that are not discussed publicly

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, in response to the sanctions imposed on February 23, called for “activities that are not usually discussed publicly” to be carried out on the territories of Western countries.

IN publications Dmitry Medvedev’s Telegram channel says that the latest restrictive measures were taken “against the entire population of Russia.” As an example, he cited restrictions on the Mir system and sanctions against companies involved in housing construction in the Russian Federation.

“We all just need to remember this and take revenge on them wherever possible. They are our enemies. Create possible difficulties for them in the economy, arouse public dissatisfaction with the mediocre policies of Western authorities… And also carry out other activities on their territory that are not customary to talk about publicly,” wrote Dmitry Medvedev.

23 February EU published in the Official Journal a message according to which 106 individuals and 88 legal entities were subject to new sanctions. On the same day, US authorities announced on sanctions against more than 100 companies and 500 objects. Most of the sanctions, according to the EU and US authorities, are aimed at the Russian military-industrial complex.
