Medvedev appreciated the refusal of the US Congress to continue assistance to Ukraine

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev criticized the primitive blackmail of the US Congress carried out by the administration of President Biden.
The Russian politician drew attention to historical precedents when the owners of the White House at different times “extorted dollars from their legislators” under the pretext “otherwise they would have to start a war with the Russians.”
But “the question today is different” – Medvedev highlighted three points. First, the US authorities have never asked for so much money for a “secondary state in the process of collapse.” The second is for a country that “openly corrupted the current president and members of his family.” Thirdly, as the ex-president of Russia thinks, starting with the Cuban missile crisis, the threat of a direct clash between Russia and NATO with “the transition to the Third World War” was not so real.
The Russian politician also pointed to “boorish blackmail, continuous hysteria and wild hints addressed to us” that characterize the current actions of Joe, Hunter and Partners JSC.
