Medvedev threatened South Korea with sending Russian weapons to North Korea for wanting to help Ukraine
Deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, in his new post on Telegram, said that “there are new people who want to help our enemies.”
Medvedev writes that the South Korean authorities have confirmed that “in principle, this state is ready to supply arms to the Kyiv regime.” At the same time, according to him, earlier “the South Koreans ardently assured” that there could be no talk of any arms deliveries.
Further, Medvedev said that in response, Russia could start arming the DPRK: “What will the inhabitants of this country (South Korea – MK) say when they see the latest samples of Russian weapons from their closest neighbors …”
“What is called, Quid pro quo,” summed up the ex-president and ex-prime minister of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, South Korean President Yoon Sok-yeol said that Seoul is ready to supply weapons to Kiev in the event of an escalation against the civilian population, because in this situation it will be “difficult for the country to insist on humanitarian or financial support only.”
