Medvedev accused Zelensky of intending to create a human shield from the EU mission

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky wants to create a human shield of representatives of the EU mission, sending them to Ukrainian critical infrastructure facilities, wrote Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in his Telegram channel.

“The stoned bloody clown is asking the EU to send missions to Ukrainian critical infrastructure. Apparently, he wants the Europeans to sit there as human shields. These fools are not sorry, but the cannon fodder of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is apparently not enough for him. We need fresh blood,” Medvedev wrote.

He also urged the representatives of the European Union this time “not to accept the role assigned to them.”

Zelensky previously invited the UN mission to visit the critical energy infrastructure of the republic. The mission should assess the amount of damage and the necessary needs for reconstruction, and also try to prevent further destruction of critical installations.

The last time the Ministry of Defense announced a massive attack on the military command and control system, objects of the military-industrial and fuel and energy complexes of Ukraine on December 5. Then, as a result of the strike, the production and repair of Ukrainian weapons at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex was stopped, rail transportation of military equipment was disrupted, and the transfer of reserves to the areas of hostilities was hindered.

On October 10, the Russian military began to strike at Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. Russian President Vladimir Putin, during an operational meeting with members of the Security Council, then said that such a decision was made in response to Ukrainian attempts at terrorist attacks on Russian territory, including an explosion on the Crimean bridge. He emphasized that the reaction to such actions would be tough.
